(Mensaje se repite en Español) In the following video, A Response From the Hobart Shakespeareans, Sir Ian McKellen, a self-professed "admirer" of the Los Angeles Unified School District's latest falsely targeted teacher Rafe Esquith and many of Mr. Esquith's students and others talk about what has become at LAUSD the all too rare experience of receiving an excellent substantive and general supportive education from Mr. Esquith. Regrettably, at LAUSD this seems only to have made Mr. Esquith and the program he built a target of LAUSD administration.

The Town Hall meeting will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Roosevelt High School students, teachers, parents, alumni, and activists are urged to attend and participate in this important event. The future of Roosevelt High School is at stake as it may lose its accreditation.

LAUSD BLACKLISTING THOUSANDS OF TEACHERS- HOW THEY DO IT

(Mensaje se repite en Español) One fundamental principal of any honest legal system is that those who are party to a dispute are not allowed to call all the shots as to what is relevant and what is not in investigating and fairly resolving the dispute. If this was allowed to take place, that party's own actions or interests in arriving at a predetermined unfair result would never be scrutinized by a truly neutral party. And yet that is precisely what has now gone on for years at the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) without any outside governmental intervention in a process where thousands of teachers have not only been removed from their jobs based on wholely fabricated charges, but it has also subsequently lead to their being blacklisted in a manner that almost assures they will never work again anywhere as a teacher.

LAUSD OR TARGETED TEACHERS- A SIMPLE WAY TO KNOW WHO'S TELLING THE TRUTH

(Mensaje se repite en Español) While poligraph or lie detector tests remain inadmissible in most court and other proceedings, given their significantly increased reliability, there might just be an application at the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) where it might be used to determine whose lying when it comes to allegations of teacher misconduct. Even though polygraph testing has become more and more reliable for showing whose telling the truth between two individuals, it is still capable of deception on an individual basis. But what if we weren't dealing with individuals, but rather groups of targeted now ex-LAUSD teachers who continue to profess their innocence of wrong doing after either being forced into early retirement or fired based on charges they continue to maintain are false and completely fabricated as in the present case of nationally recognized teacher Rafe Esquith? What if all or a significant portion of the now thousands of such teachers agreed to pay for and submit to a poligraph test, which shows that they or the vast majority of them are telling the truth, when it comes to charges of immorality or other alleged bad acts that were used by LAUSD to force them out of their teaching jobs for a windfall financial savings. This allowed LAUSD to replace them with emergency credentialed fresh-out-of-college graduates paid at a fraction of the cost?

(Mensaje se repite en Español) Because the public is never given this essential fact that 93% of targeted teachers are at the top of the salary scale, they have difficult believing that those running LAUSD would go after teachers, unless they were bad or morally reprehensible as is echoed again and again in the corporate press with an ultimate agenda of privatizing public education for corporate profit. Nowhere is this incredibly dark motive of corporate America or their LAUSD administration ever mentioned.

(Mensaje se repite en Español) The organized corporate assault on public education- and more specifically costly veteran teachers- has gone on unimpeded over the last 9 years, because teachers' unions around the country have not only done nothing to protect their dues paying members, they have actually assisted the school districts in getting rid of top of the salary scale teachers under any pretext by offering an appearance of validity to what on closer examination is a clearly illegal and morally reprehensible process that has destroyed the lives of thousands of completely innocent teachers around the country- that is until now.

(Mensaje se repite en Español) When it comes to preparing the next generation to take over the world, one would think that education would be of primary importance. That doesn't seem to be the case. One would also think that whatever financial cost it takes would be a major concern. That does seem to be happening, but you get what you pay for. The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) has created several methods to bring down the cost. Unfortunately, they don't seem to improve the product. But, they are cheaper! A large percentage of the expenses are related to teachers and they are unfairly held out as the major problem. Their hands are tied. They are more accurately, the scapegoats.
