LAUSD Board.jpgFor anybody that bothers to look- since school districts like LAUSD literally make no attempt to hide it- there is and has been a clearly illegal seige upon, and removal of, literally thousands of more expensive high seniority teachers from coast to coast in this country on clearly fabricated charges. This for the sole real reason of their being more expensive for school districts, which are themselves in dire financial straits due to their own avoidable malfeasance.

What has caused these districts like LAUSD to go after what one might logically assume to be their most seasoned and best veteran teacher assets is what remains unreported in the corporate controlled media- owned by the same interests that seek to privatize public education for corporate profit and the further dumbing of America to the point where our citizenry will no longer have enough of an education to understand just how badly they are being screwed.

Longstanding- not negligent- but rather what clearly has reached the level of criminal administrative mismanagement has these districts teetering on the verge of bankruptcy, while their respective state governments increasingly dread the likelihood that they will have to take over these corporate vendor captured and pilfered school districts as one by one they go belly up and into bankruptcy.

And a bogus charter movement, which is only a stalking horse for the privatizers that own them, is only shortening the time left before entities like LAUSD are made into completely charter districts, where all their goods and services are supplied by Broadesque corporate interests that have no problem with saying they value their version of laissez faire capitalism above anything else, which includes little things like a good public education for all in the context of a democratic society, which today's students are no longer given enough of an education to understand or realize that it is almost gone.

And if you have the misfortune of being one of the high seniority teachers targeted under this clearly sinister plan, your only option is to seek redress of grievance in a court system that is no longer a neutral arbiter of the facts in search of truth, since it knows that if it decides in your favor that the state will be left holding the bag for a school district's clearly avoidable malfeasance.

The one asset that those opposing the privatization of public education have is the objective fact that they are not only the majority, but rather are an as yet unheard super majority. Their as yet unrealized power and standing to oppose the privatization, dumbing down, and elimination of a meaningful public education and the democracy that relies on it for its existence can still be realized throught the freedom of association that is now possible through the 21st century Internet technology, which Ed Snowden and others are still able to use effectively- as long as we have net neutrality- in addressing the superficial and homogenized orwellian newspeak that presently holds sway.

Presently, I am working with an every expanding group of targeted teachers from around the country who have had enough. We are in the process of building websites and non-profits to confront the programmed demise of public education, because we share the belief that a vibrant public education is probably the most important factor in turning things around in this country. If you are interested in being involved, please get in touch.
