Snepp worked for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) from 1968 until 1976.He started as an intelligence analyst and then graduated to being a full-time interrogator on the Station's counterintelligence staff. Snepp always has has a knack of .digging out valuable information from doing his interrogations, whether it be in Vietnam or later as a reporter. It must have been very frustrating for him to know about the corruption I shared with him about LAUSD, but one thing Frank has never done is go against those in power, who he has always blindly equated with American values, no matter how far they have strayed from fundamental notions of constitutional democracy.
